Since 1912, Girl Scouting has been a source of joy, friendship, empowerment and self-discovery for girls everywhere.  Whether you are one of the 50 million women who were Girl Scouts or you were a volunteer or staff member who worked to help Girl Scouts reach their full potential, your personal experiences with this rich and vibrant movement resonates through your life forever.

Currently, there are 3.2 million Girl Scouts: 2.3 million girl members and 880,000 adult members. Girl Scouts is the premier leadership experience for girls.  Contemporary Girl Scouts explore science, technology, team-building, diversity, financial literacy, marketing, math, engineering, self esteem and healthy living. These modern skill sets are combined with traditions such as First Aid, friendship, outdoor appreciation and community service to create a relevant and powerful experience for today’s girls
