Adventure through camp after dark and become an explorer of the
night! Tap into
your night vision while learning about the stars
and take part in some spooky
nocturnal land and sky science.
Discover different nocturnal animals, try out
glow in the dark
science experiments, chart the star above, see camp in a
different light on a night hike, and leave with a nocturnal snack.
**Girl Scouts currently in grades 6-12 are invited to
be helpers and
assist with activities for this event. This is
a great way to
complete Program Aide and/or Counselor in
Training hours! This is also a great way to
have fun,
strengthen their leadership skills, and meet new friends while
working
directly with younger girls. Program Aide and/or
Counselor in Training Workshop
attendance is required before the
evening of the hike.
**Older girls 6-12 who only want to volunteer for the
event do not have to pay the
registration cost. Older girls who
only want to volunteer should email their
name to kwolf-berg@gsofsi.org.
Older girls
6-12 who want to volunteer AND ALSO attend one of the timed
sessions
should register for their session and
email their name to the program team at
customercare@gsofsi.org so they can also volunteer.
