Girl Scout’s founder, Juliette Gordon Low, nicknamed “Daisy,” was the visionary who created an organization preparing girls to lead with courage, confidence and character. To carry out her vision, Juliette sold her strand of pearls to fund the organization. With this act of philanthropy in mind, Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois invites you to become a part of our Pearl Society through recurring gifts of support.
Upon becoming a Pearl Society member...
- You will immediately receive a beautiful Freshwater Pearl necklace.
- You will receive a special annual recognition gift.
- Each cookie season, you will receive assorted Girl Scout cookies delivered to your door.
- You will be recognized at our annual banquet.
- You will be recognized in our annual report.
