As Thanksgiving approaches, we are filled with gratitude! We admire Girl Scouts' founder Juliette Gordon Low, whose vision has changed history. We are in awe of our amazing volunteers, whose mentorship changes girls' lives. We are thankful for girls' families for cheering them on every step of the way. We appreciate our friends and supporters, whose generosity helps keep Girl Scouting going strong. And of course, we are inspired by the Girl Scouts we serve, whose courage, confidence, and character make the world a better place. Enjoy a very happy Thanksgiving!
When Girl Scouts sell tasty treats during Girl Scout Product Programs, they are building the confidence and skills it takes to go after big goals - and reach them! Congratulations to the Girl Scouts who earned the top spots in their respective areas during the Fall Product Program.
Girl Scouts can earn two patches during the winter holidays! The Fireside Reading patch program invites girls to curl up with a blanket and a good book. They will build new vocabulary and expand their book genre horizons. The other seasonal patch, Axolotl Learning Adventures, introduces girls to this year's Cookie Program mascot. CEO Loretta Graham Named Honorary Commander by Scott Air Force Base
CEO Loretta Graham was selected by Team Scott to be part of the 2025 Class of Honorary Commanders. The Honorary Commanders program is a two-year in-depth orientation of the various missions, programs, and assets of Scott Air Force Base. Loretta has been matched with Maj. Angelina Urbina of the 375th Force Support Squadron to build one-on-one rapport and facilitate direct engagement with units.

GSofSI is seeking a team of 5-15 Girl Scouts in grades 7-12 who are passionate about STEM to join our Eclipse Investigators team! This informational session is open for adult registration only - but interested Girl Scouts are invited to attend with their caregiver or troop leader. This event is free, but please be sure to register prior to the meeting start time.
