Girl Scouts Are Getting Back to Troop - Invite a Friend to An Upcoming Registration Event
You already know Girl Scout friendships are next-level amazing! Help make your Girl Scout's squad even stronger by sharing the news about our upcoming registration events! These events are a great opportunity to invite new friends, get to know local volunteers, and renew your family's memberships if you haven't already. Watch for more dates and locations to be added through September!
Our United We Lead Gala is THE premier event benefiting Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois. All Girl Scout supporters age 21+ are invited to join us on Friday, Sept. 6 at The Leclaire Room in Edwardsville for an evening of dining, drinks, and entertainment!
Can't make the event? You can still support Girl Scouts during our silent auction! Bidding will open on Sept. 3 at 9 a.m. and close on Sept. 6 at 9:45 p.m. Winners do not need to be present to receive their prize - items can be picked up from our office and certificates can be mailed.
Plus, you can purchase a Golden Ticket for a chance to win your choice of our Live Auction items! You do not need to be present to win - our team will contact you the evening of Sept. 6 to make your choice.
Kennedy Cason Awarded Scholarship from Girl Scouts of the USA
Congratulations to Kennedy Cason from East St. Louis for being awarded a $5,000 scholarship from Girl Scouts of the USA for her achievements as a Gold Award Girl Scout. Kennedy created a literacy library for the seniors of East St. Louis Township to make a lasting impact and earn the prestigious award.

Gear Up for the New Membership Year with Starter Kits
Uniform Starter kits are available now! The kit includes sash, vest or tunic along with the Council ID and American Flag patches, Insignia Tab, Membership (level) Pin and World Trefoil Pin. Please note that troop numbers will need to be purchased separately.
Plus, any purchase of $60 or more that includes a Uniform Starter kit will receive a free bag ($15 value!). This promotion is while supplies last, so be sure to get your orders in soon.
