The Girl Scout Cookie Program Starts January 11 |

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the #1 girl-led business in the world! Girl Scouts build confidence and key skills, as well as raise funds to power amazing activities like camping, travel, and community service.
In Southern Illinois, Girl Scouts can start making sales on Digital Cookie on Jan. 11. This safe online platform lets girls build their very own digital sales site, and is meant to market cookies to friends and family. Towards the end of the month, Girl Scouts will begin to get cookies in-hand that can be sold door-to-door, during cookie booths, etc.

Build Even Bigger Skills at Cookie College |

Cookie College can help Girl Scouts maximize the benefits of running their very own cookie biz! They'll explore topics like goal setting, budgeting, and market research while earning cookie badges!
There are two options - Girl Scouts can attend a live workshop via Zoom on Jan. 19 or they can access an on-demand workshop to earn badges at their own pace. |

GSofSI Girl Scouts Engage in Robotics |

Girl Scout Robotics teams are participating in two FIRST Robotics Leagues this season! FIRST LEGO League Challenge, which is for students in 4-8 grade, has recently wrapped up. Koala Koders from Waterloo were named an Innovation Project Award Finalist.
In addition, two GSofSI Teams are still competing in FIRST Tech Challenge, which is for students in grades 7-12. Polytechnic Puzzle Pieces and Gear Girls, both from O'Fallon, will compete next on Jan. 25 in Maryville. Go Girl Scouts! |
