Encouraging customers to support our Gift of Caring program is a great way to hit your goals while giving back to our American military heroes. This year, we've partnered with H.E.R.O.E.S. Care, an area nonprofit that supports active and veteran service members and their families. Let's show our appreciation!
Ask customers at your cookie booth if they'd like to add a donated box to their orders. See if you can display a poster at a local veterans' organization, library, restaurant, etc. that shares your Troop Digital Cookie link. Follow the button below to find a graphic you can use to start a social media campaign, as well as a flyer you can print. |

Enjoy Volunteer Training Summit and More |

Save the date for Volunteer Training Summit: Leadership Unleashed! This volunteer event will host many exciting learning sessions for volunteers of all different roles and experience levels. Volunteers will also have the chance to meet some of our preferred partners, council staff, and other volunteers in an expo-style setting.
Annual Meeting
Please note that Annual Meeting also will be hosted at this date and location from 11a.m.-12:30 p.m. and will require a separate registration.
Free Overnight Accommodations
Optional overnight accommodations are available for free at Camp Torqua for any member who is registered for the Volunteer Training Summit to stay Friday and/or Saturday night.
Volunteer Appreciation Night
All adult members are invited to our Volunteer Appreciation Night on Friday, April 5, from 6-8 p.m. Come out to Camp Torqua to share refreshments, s'mores by the bonfire and good company.

Free Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Available for Day Camp Volunteers |

Day Camp would not be possible without the dedication of amazing adult volunteers! To help support these incredible volunteers as they spend time with Girl Scouts in new ways, we want to share the opportunity to attend a special training course at no cost.
Mental health continues to be an important topic in Girl Scouting and all of our communities. All Day Camp volunteers are invited to attend our Youth Mental Health First Aid training sessions, which will help them be prepared to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance abuse disorders in adolescents. Volunteer Role Spotlight: Service Unit Managers and Service Unit Registrars |

This month, we want to illuminate our Service Unit Managers (SUMs) & Service Unit Registrars (SURs). They serve as the crucial link between troops and the council. Our Girl Scout mission would not reach so far without them!
SUMs and SURs spread information all across their areas to inform troops about new council and Service Unit activities, policies, membership opportunities, and updates. In addition, they keep a pulse on their volunteers’ registration and training requirements. Plus, SUMs and SURs help orchestrate activities, events, and partnerships to promote diversity and inclusion throughout their local Girl Scout community. |

2024 Cookie Merchandise
Our 2024 Cookie Bundles sold fast, but we still have individual items to help sell those cookies! There are cookie carts, banners, yard signs, rollabanas, money pouches and aprons - just to name some of the cookie season swag available in our Council Shop! We even have axolotl themed items to keep girls excited about this year’s mascot.

New hoodie alert! We now have GSofSI "In My Girl Scout Era" hoodies. Show off your Girl Scout pride in this super soft and cozy hooded sweatshirt! This sweatshirt has it all: groovy font, fun Girl Scout images, and our council logo on the sleeve. These shirts are available in youth and adult sizes. Get yours while supplies lasts!
Program Patch Pre-Orders Are In
Those of you who preordered the Axolotl Adventures or Fireside Reading program patch should receive them soon, if you haven't already! We are processing them according to the order instructions: either contacting the customer for pickup or mailing them to customers who purchased shipping.
