Our Engage to Make a Change Challenge asks Girl Scouts to complete a service project that helps their community. Girls are challenged to think of the best ways they can create positive change in their own hometowns. The goal is to learn more about the local community, engage in opportunities to volunteer, and make a difference. This project will run from Jan. 8 to April 8. |

It's Girl Scout Cookie Time! You're guiding the leaders of tomorrow as they run the biggest girl-led business in the world. This time of year is busy, exciting, rewarding, and fun. Here is some information to keep in mind.
Important Dates
Jan. 13: Caregivers will receive an email to access Digital Cookie
Jan. 13-20: Initial Order Deliveries: Along with cookies, troops should receive girl order cards, money envelopes, two receipt books per troop, and troop initial rewards from their SU Cookie Manager. These items have all been mailed to the SUCM.
Jan. 20: All in-person and online sales begin!

Girl Scouts' Digital Cookie platform allows girls to get hands-on experience using modern technology and entrepreneurship skills! They can set up their very own online storefront to market cookies to friends and family. Follow the button below to find tips and resources for using this incredible tool!
Girl Scouts' caregivers should receive an e-mail giving their family access to Digital Cookie on Jan. 13. If they do not receive an email, please ask them to check their junk/spam folders and then, if still unavailable, to follow these instructions. |

Volunteer Role Spotlight: Troop and Service Unit Product Managers |

We are celebrating all of the incredible volunteers who fill troop and service unit level Fall Product Manager and/or Cookie Manager roles! These volunteers help guide Girl Scouts and their caregivers through girl-led entrepreneurship programs. They also manage troop online ordering systems, collect payments, keep accurate records, distribute all product and recognitions to girls and caregivers, and so much more!
With a successful Fall Product season behind us, and an amazing Cookie Program coming soon, now is the perfect time to show some appreciation to your troop and service unit product managers! Give them a high-five, send them a card, or share another gesture of gratitude. Thank you for helping us spread the love and appreciation for these incredible volunteers. |

Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois, including our Council Shop, will be closed on Jan. 15 to commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. We will also be closed on Jan. 17 for an all-staff meeting.
