Camp Torqua Frog Pond Renovated Thanks to $25K Grant from American Water Charitable Foundation
Girl Scouts have enjoyed new features at Camp Torqua's frog pond this summer thanks to a generous grant from American Water Charitable Foundation. An attractive new fountain was installed that provides aeration to support pond health. In addition, an outdoor classroom with water testing kits and other tools was added, so campers can explore enhanced learning sessions.
Girl Scouts are going places! There are three new council trips planned for summer 2025: Savannah, Niagara Falls, and London!
Traveling with Girl Scouts is a great way for your girl to explore new places, expand her horizons, and have fun with a great group of friends. Don't forget - we have financial assistance and grant funding available.
