Girl Scouts will get area water parks all to themselves this summer during special events celebrating renewal! All girl and adult members who renew for a 2025 membership are invited! Just sign up for another year of Girl Scouting, then register for one or both Girl Scouts Take Over Water Parks events.

Please note: A tagalong is either a girl who is not old enough to attend Kindergarten in Fall 2024, or a male under the age of 18. Children under 2 will not be required to pay.

Congratulations to Karlene Hoefener from O'Fallon for being awarded Girl Scouts' Thanks Badge II! A longtime volunteer with Service Unit 201 O'Fallon/Shiloh/Fairview Heights, she is known as having "the heart of a true Girl Scout."
Help choose the 2025 rewards for the Girl Scout Cookie Program! Please take this short survey from our baker, and encourage caregivers to help younger girls to share their voices. This survey will close on June 13.
Starting in August, new Girl Scout Daisy (K–1) troop leaders will receive a monthly supply box filled with step-by-step instructions, ready-to-go supplies, and thoughtful script suggestions. This complimentary resource will follow the Daisy First Year Troop Plan and be shipped directly to troop leaders.
Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois has so many dedicated volunteers in so many different roles, and we want to highlight and thank volunteers for the work they do in their specific role.
Pack your rucksacks, it’s time to celebrate our Day Camp Leadership and Day Camp Helpers! These volunteers create an unforgettable experience for Girl Scouts. It’s truly amazing to see how much fun they can pack into each day. From budgeting, maintaining safety checks, recruiting volunteers, planning meals, and pumping up the fun, these volunteers put in the work to make summer memorable!

Council Shop Closed July 19-28 for Inventory
Our Council Shop will be closed for in-person shopping from July 19-28. We will reopen on July 29. Online orders can still be placed and will start being processed on that date.

This summer, join us for the great GSofSI Dash! You know the tv shows where people travel the world finding clues and solving challenges? We're bringing that idea to Southern Illinois and making it Girl Scout style! Gather your team, follow the map, solve clues, decipher puzzles, complete Girl Scout skills, and more! There are also volunteer opportunities for older troops or individuals.
