Girl Scout Week is March 10-16

Sign up now for Volunteer Training Summit: Leadership Unleashed! This event will be held April 6 at Collinsville High School. There will be many exciting training sessions for volunteers of all different roles and experience levels. Free, optional, overnight accommodations are available at Camp Torqua for any member registered for the Summit to stay Friday and/or Saturday night.
Plus, there are several additional opportunities all weekend long - including a fun Volunteer Appreciation Night celebration at Camp Torqua on Friday, April 5! Follow the button below to see details about all of the weekend's events!
Our 2024 cookie season has been a spectacular success! Thank you to all the amazing volunteers who have helped Girl Scouts build lifelong skills and raise funds for incredible adventures. As the days wind down, here are some details to keep in mind.
March 10 - Cookie season ends
March 12 - Troop final rewards and girl allocations due
March 14 - Service Unit final rewards and allocations due
March 20 - Troop ACH July 1 - Last day troops can sell any leftover cookies

There's still time to participate in our council-wide Engage to Make a Change community service project! We've challenged Girl Scouts to learn more about their community and give back in the ways that help the most. Earn a patch by participating by April 8.
Volunteer Role Spotlight: Troop Leaders and Co-Leaders
This month, we want to celebrate our incredibly amazing Troop Leaders and Co-Leaders! These volunteers are the heart and soul of their troops. They make sure that girls have the space, funds, resources, opportunities, confidence, and support to thrive. They help girls forge a strong foundation of friends who encourage them to reach their goals within and outside of Girl Scouts. Plus, Troop Leaders & Co-Leaders serve as trusted confidants and mentors. Even as girls grow up, they never forget their Troop Leaders!
March Mystery Bags
During the month of March, we are offering Mystery Bags. There will be a $5 and a $10 variation. Each bag will contain at least one Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois branded item as well as other fun merchandise. Order yours in-store or on our GSofSI online shop while supplies last!

Extended Shop Hours in April and May
Whether it's spring activities taking your troop outdoors, preparing for bridging ceremonies or gearing up for Day or Overnight Camp, come get supplies you need during these additional hours:
Wednesdays: April 3, April 17, May 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturdays: April 20, May 4, and May 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Volunteer Training Summit/Annual Meeting
Don’t forget! Our retail team will be on location at the Volunteer Training Summit and Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Limited merchandise will be available-including the launch of NEW items! If you’d like to order from our complete inventory, pre-orders are encouraged by contacting the shop by April 3 at 5 p.m.
