Mark Your Calendars for Volunteer Training Summit and Annual Meeting
The Volunteer Training Summit will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Camp Torqua! We will be offering optional free overnight stays on both March 28 and 29, along with free volunteer appreciation events on each day. We will also offer some certification training courses on March 30. It's sure to be an exciting weekend of fun and learning!
Our 2024 Annual Meeting will be held April 27 at DoubleTree in Mt. Vernon. The business meeting will follow the Recognition of Excellence awards ceremony.

Last month, we shared that there will be an update to cookie prices during the 2025 season due to rising production costs. CEO Loretta Graham has prepared a video message to help Girl Scouts respond to questions from potential customers at Cookie Booths.
We've provided some extra incentive for new Girl Scout Troop Leaders who are working through their first 90 days of required New Leader Onboarding training!
By hitting deadlines for completing the required coursework, they will receive an insignia tab and membership pins to place on their uniforms! These rewards will be distributed to the qualifying New Leaders at your November, December, and January Service Unit Meetings.
