What is your special connection to Girl Scouts?
"I have two beautiful, successful daughters who have both enjoyed the Girl Scout programs provided through our great Council. Those daughters also have beautiful, successful friends who have also enjoyed and flourished after participating in many Girl Scout activities in their youth. That is why I volunteer for this organization – watching girls become successful, courageous and confident no matter their family situation or the pressures added through our society."
Why is it important to you to give to Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois?
"Supporting our female leaders of the future is so important! The Girl Scout program gives development opportunities to every girl regardless of ethnicity, social status, ability to pay or physical abilities. Girl Scouts gives every girl the ability to fail in a safe space, learn from mistakes and build character that carries them into so many rewarding careers. How can you NOT support Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois?"
Favorite Holiday?
"Thanksgiving – because it's the day to reflect on our blessings."
