June 2023 Volunteer Support and Resources Updates
gsLearn Updates:
The 416 (GSofSI Council) Financial Reporting course has been released and is available under the Content Library to explain the simplified process and the necessary steps for the Troop Treasurer and Service Unit Treasurer to complete. While the Treasurers are the targeted audience, interested volunteers can access the course as well by searching for the course title in the “Content Library” after accessing gsLearn from your MYGS account.
The 416 (GSofSI Council) (MY24) Understanding Your Role course will be sending out completion reminders via email to all incomplete learners. This course will outline the responsibilities, qualifications, and expectations required of each volunteer role. View "Additional References" on the course homepage or the "Resources" tab within the course for copies of each volunteer position description to save or download. This required course must be completed each membership year. This course needs to be accessed and completed in gsLearn via your personal MYGS portal.

We also have an updated section on the Forms and Documents page of our website. Visit the Financial Forms, near the bottom section, to view these updated resources: Troop Financial Report, Service Unit Financial Report, Troop Finance Tracking Spreadsheet, Service Unit Finance Tracking Spreadsheet, and the Financial Report Tip Sheet. The ACH Authorization Form, CHECKredi references, and forms have also been relocated to this section.
