New gsLearn Course: Understanding Your Role
Understanding Your Role is a new course that is part of the required training for returning and new adult volunteers. This brief but thorough course is now the official method for volunteers to receive, review, and accept the volunteer position descriptions for the roles in which they will serve. Log in to MYGS and choose gsLearn from the menu to the left to access this training that is required for the 2023-24 membership year.
Volunteer Roles That Require This Training:
Service Unit Roles: Manager, Registrar, Treasurer, Troop Organizers, Product Manager (Nut, Candy & Magazine and Cookies) and Juliette Adult
Troop Roles: Troop Leader, Co-Leader, Treasurer, Product Manager (Nut, Candy & Magazine and Cookies) and Troop Helper
Supporting Roles: Delegate and Alternate, Event Helper, Cupboard Manager and Council Trainer
Day Camp Roles: Day Camp Leadership, Day Camp Helper and Day Camp First Aider
