This month, we want to illuminate our Service Unit Managers (SUMs) & Service Unit Registrars (SURs). They serve as the crucial link between troops and the council. Our Girl Scout mission would not reach so far without them!
SUMs and SURs spread information all across their areas to inform troops about new council and Service Unit activities, policies, membership opportunities, and updates. In addition, they keep a pulse on their volunteers’ registration and training requirements. Plus, SUMs and SURs help orchestrate activities, events, and partnerships to promote diversity and inclusion throughout their local Girl Scout community.
