Volunteer Role Spotlight: Troop Helpers
Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois has many dedicated volunteers in so many different roles, and it is important that we highlight and thank volunteers for the work they do in their specific role. This month we want to give some love to our Troop Helpers!
These are the adult volunteers who always come to meetings, day camps, overnight trips, field trips, and anything else the troop could dream up. Not only are they the most reliable MVPs when it comes to keeping ratio, they support the Troop Leader/s and girls whenever and wherever it’s needed. Without Troop Helpers, Troop Leaders and Service Units wouldn’t be able to do all the amazing things they have planned for the girls. Let’s give three cheers for the Troop Helpers who rally around their leaders and keep the fun going!
