Being a Girl Scout is more than just a moment – it’s a powerful path of life-changing momentum. Girl Scouts build the courage, confidence, and character they need to create the lives they want to lead.
We are so thankful to be part of Girl Scouts' lives as they grow, learn, and thrive. From little ones braving their first sleepover together, to tweens leaning on their teams of supportive friends, to young adults exploring whole new worlds of possibility - there is always an inspiring experience to cheer on. With all of this encouragement, Girl Scouts can do anything! They canoe rivers, code robots, launch literacy programs, paint community murals, camp under the stars, collaborate with city hall, and so much more. Girl Scouts go on big adventures, while also strengthening life skills, overcoming challenges, and creating positive change.
Share a gift with us this Giving Tuesday, so that we can continue to offer new opportunities in Girl Scouts. Each time they take the lead, they build an even brighter future for us all. Your support makes a difference for our families, our communities, and our world.
Meet KayLee Melton. We caught up with the young alum as she led the Pop Star Era session at Overnight Camp this summer. KayLee is a Gold Award Girl Scout, a Girl Scout delegate, and a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She served as our Overnight Camp Director over the summer and also recently attended the Juliette Low Seminar at Sangam World Centre in Pune, India. This prestigious conference is a leadership development program for Girl Scouts and Girl Guides aged 18-30 from all around the world. She has accomplished so much already, and KayLee is just getting started. A current college senior, she plans to continue giving back through Girl Scouts and through a career as a teacher.
"I hope the girls get the independence of knowing that they can do all of these things and that they are empowered," she said.
