Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois has been selected as a STEM Education grantee thanks to American Water Charitable Foundation. This $25,000 grant will help fund a new program initiative, “Tap Into Water Ecology: Frog Pond Education.” Through the program, Girl Scouts will be able to explore ecology and build STEM skills while enjoying the outdoors at Camp Torqua.
