Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois is proud to announce that we've been
selected by United Way of Greater St. Louis as a Safety Net partner
once again for 2024-26! According to United Way's website, "to
build a stronger community, we believe our region must have
high-performing nonprofit organizations, a desire for collaboration
around needs and solutions, a focus on racial equity, and strong
outcomes for programs serving people."
United Way of
Greater St. Louis will provide critical funding to Safety Net
nonprofit partners in order to help people in our region learn, grow,
and thrive. Here at Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois, we believe in
the power of our mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and
character, who make the world a better place. Investing in Girl Scouts
means investing in future leaders for the good of our communities, our
nation, and our world.
